We are lucky enough to share our studio with a rather talented photographer (just don’t tell him I said that) – Tom van Schelven- and he’s just updated his site with a little help from yours truly and a bunch of great new portraits. The hirsute gentleman above is none other than Jay Taylor, the guy who gave us our first break way back in ’03 when A to M was just an attempt to get some weird and wonderful ideas on to paper and out into the unsuspecting world.

Night & Day Poster Extravaganza

So! We’ve been a bit slack updating the blog, but we have been busy (and that’s a reasonable enough excuse, eh?)

We’ve recently completed the identity for a new clothes customising company in Heywood called Premier Printwear.

Tom, who sits directly behind me and is chatting away noisily in Dutch as I type, has a new site showcasing some of his exceptional work. Designed & built by yours truly. Really worth checking out. Tom Van Schelven.

But most importantly, along with a little update to the monthly listings we do for Night & Day, we also found time to put together a little retrospective of cover artwork in time for their 18th birthday. 13 covers have been selected and reproduced in all their glory at a whopping A0 (33.1 × 46.8 inches!) and are currently hanging in the greatest Rock’n'Roll bar I’ve ever been to. Each poster is available at a thoroughly reasonable £10 each, order at the bar ladies & gentlemen.

We should also point out that the perennially popular set of cards we do through our side project, A Rude Movement, are available in the shops once again. We recommend you seek them out at Piccadilly Records in the centre of Manchester, or if you’re in Chorlton the beautifully stocked boutique Wowie Zowie. Rumour has it that they’ll be available in a selection of His Master’s Voice outlets for those of you outside of Mancunia.

Speaking of cards, for those of you struggling Ben&James have everything you need for that perfect Agency Christmas Card.

Film fans should look out for the London Short Film Festival!
