For well over a decade the Queer Up North International Festival has been commissioning and promoting some of the most exciting and ambitious art and performance in the North of England.
This year's event was under threat from massive cuts in the Arts Council's funding but a high profile campaign ensured this much loved festival continued.
A to M were approached to produce the promotional material for this year's event. The brief was to come up with a main image and identity to represent the festival's unique and ambitious programme whilst still allowing for the diversity of events and media the material would have to be suitable for.
Formed in 2003 and now based in Manchester, London and Berlin, we offer a wide variety of services and skills ranging from original illustration to large scale identity projects.
We are proud of our broad base of clients. We love working with small ambitious independent arts and music industry companies as well as established brand names such as Nike, Topman, nPower, Theakston's & Baracuta.
We art direct and design DXN a diverse arts and culture magazine and the regular listings brochure for Night & Day, a live venue in Manchester. We are also responsible for the covers of WSAG the Evertonian fanzine.
In 2004 we held a solo exhibition at Bankley Studios Gallery titled “With Love from A to M”.
